Bookkeeper Role:
• Casual position to start.
• This is a remote position as our office is fully utilised.
• The position is on an as-needed basis to cover work overflow to start. As more clients come on board, the work volume will increase.
• Remuneration will be a base award plus superannuation to start, increasing with the demonstration of competency.
Other details:
• ABBS are Bookkeepers and registered BAS agents with over 35 years of experience
• We are seeking an organised and motivated person to join our Slacks Creek office team.
• You will be working in a close, supportive and cohesive team environment where you are encouraged to reach your true potential.
• Training will be provided where needed to help you reach your goals. You will start in a casual role on an as-needed basis, with the option to transition to a permanent position after 12 months of service. Work hours are flexible, ideally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• The position has become available due to the ever-increasing workload with new clients joining us.
• You will report to the office manager in the first instance.
We are ideally looking for a person who can meet the following characteristics:
• Holds a qualification in bookkeeping (essential)
• Strong organisational skills. (essential)
• Demonstrates attention to detail (essential)
• Willingness to learn and to be a team player. (essential)
• Has a working knowledge of GST and its application (additional training can be provided)
